NO REFUND!!!

Never received a refund from the gift card that I bought and returned to them one month from now! I have been emailing the customer service and the agent that I was assigned to was Natalyn Obey! She was saying that they haven't received the gift card that I returned using their return mailing label a month ago. But I've been bugging them almost very week if they got the card in the mail. Had to dispute my refund to my credit card company! From then on, I am not buying gift cards from them anymore! I really hate this company! Buyers beware!!! Poor customer service!!! Very greedy for $$$$$!

Sold expired / empty card - refused refund

Selling empty cards! Ripped us off - sold us a card in September, that someone had already spent in August! On 09/09/13 we placed an order for $445.75 in cards, which included a Michaels $200 gift card we gave as a gift for a friends birthday in October. Unfortunately, when she attempted to use the card our local Michaels store that the card balance was $0. So, I called Michaels... and they report that card was used on 8/27/13. That means the card we received was already empty. We notified GiftCardRescue and they told us that, because we waited beyond the 60 return period to give it to our friend and for her to use it... they are not obligated to provide a refund and stiffed us on a $200 card purchase!

Wrong Cards and No Refund!!!

I ordered two Bonefish Grill-branded gift cards from this sorry enterprise and received two Fleming's-branded cards instead that were redeemable only at that restaurant. I had never even heard of Fleming's and have no intention of using that restaurant chain. I immediately returned the cards on the same day using the return label provided by Gift Card Rescue and asked for a full refund. To date, 12 days later, the refund has not been issued. My repeated e-mail requests for status updates have remained unanswered, except for boilerplate, pro forma message acknowledgments. I now have no choice buy to dispute the charge with my credit card company, which will take additional time to resolve. Meanwhile I'm out 88.00! Never again!!! Stay away from this fly-by-night outfit!

Beware of giftcardrescue.com

Gift Card Rescue is a joke. I wanted to sell to them a $500 gift card that I had no use for. They were going to pay me $325 for it. I sent it in and they received it on a Monday (per USPS delivery confirmation). Their website claims they mail out payment within 48 hours of receipt of gift card. Wednesdays rolls around and they email asking for me to sign some forms to confirm I obtained this gift card legally, they wanted a copy of my driver's license, plus they wanted me to submit to them a copy of the receipt showing proof of purchase for the gift card. How can I do that considering this was a gift? I provided everything else except the receipt (since I don't have one, which I explained to them). I don't hear from them for days even after sending several emails asking for the status of my order. The next Monday rolls around and after still not hearing anything I call their customer service, were I'm told they cannot buy my gift card since I cannot provide them documentation supporting the proof of purchase. If I would have known that was required, I wouldn't have bothered sending it in to begin with! Then the kicker is that they want me to send them a self-addressed, postage paid return envelope to get my $500 gift card back! This has been a complete waste of my time and money, considering I had to pay to ship my gift card there in the first place, now I have to pay to get it back. Beware of this company, they are a complete scam! No where on their website does it state they may require documentation supporting proof of purchase. It's absurd to require this, these are GIFT cards after all.
